Some technology websites have warned of serious vulnerabilities in Android operating system software, and have called on users of these devices to update their operating systems

ZDNet noted that Google's information security experts had discovered 107 security vulnerabilities in the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) system in early December. These vulnerabilities affected all versions of the operating system, from "Android-13" to "Android-16". On December 5, Google announced new updates to address these problems.

The experts explained in the newspaper that some of these vulnerabilities are serious, and that two of them - CVE-2025-48633 and CVE-2025-48572 - were classified as extremely serious. The US Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) was also notified of these vulnerabilities, so Google and the technology experts called on Android users to download the update and install the patch as soon as possible.

ZDNet experts pointed out that serious security vulnerabilities usually affect the core of the Android system, and according to information security experts, hackers can exploit any of these vulnerabilities to hack into other people's phones and gain additional privileges in the victim's device operating system in order to be able to control the device, or exploit these vulnerabilities to access device data.
