Super Air Jet flight delays continue, passengers to West Sumatra stranded for dozens of hours
Hundreds of Super Air Jet passengers bound for Padang were forced to wait for up to ten hours at Terminal 2 of Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Tangerang, Banten, Wednesday, due to the consecutive delays of flight IU-810 on the Jakarta–Padang route.

The flight, originally scheduled to depart at 1:05 PM WIB, was first delayed to 6:10 PM WIB. Passengers accepted the decision, citing the airline's frequent delays.

However, tension began to build when the departure time was changed again to 8:40 PM WIB. Passengers crowded Gate E4 demanded clarification as there had been no further announcement regarding the flight's certainty.

"I was given Rp. 300,000 as compensation, but it's still unclear what time the departure will be," said Seno, one of the passengers.
