To date, 76.5 percent of Telkomsel's cellular services have returned to normal (5,851 of a total of 7,640 sites ) and 79.7 percent of Telkomsel's IndiHome services have returned to normal (422,551 of a total of 530,502 lines ).
This recovery is supported by proactive measures to maintain community connectivity in evacuation centers, emergency response areas, and affected areas, including the free Sumatra Care Alert Package at UMB *888*20#.
Recovery was carried out through various schemes, including the mobilization of 346 technical personnel, the placement of additional generators, the rerouting of backbone and transmission lines, the use of alternative equipment, and the deployment of mobile BTS at priority locations.
Telkomsel is also closely coordinating with the Ministry of Communication and Digital (Kemkomdigi), local governments, disaster management officials, PLN, and local stakeholders to ensure communication services remain available.
