Medical sources said a child was taken to the Baptist Hospital after being shot by the occupation army in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza, in an area from which Israeli forces had previously withdrawn as part of the first phase of the ceasefire agreement.
The ambulance and emergency services in Gaza announced the death of a Palestinian girl by Israeli fire outside the areas of its deployment in the Rafah area, south of the Gaza Strip.
This attack represents yet another violation of the agreement brokered between Hamas and Israel by Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey, and sponsored by the United States, which came into effect on October 10th. According to official sources in Gaza, Israel has committed hundreds of violations and killed 367 Palestinians since the agreement came into force.
In the latest statistics, the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the toll of the Israeli genocide has risen to 70,360 martyrs and 171,047 wounded since October 7, 2023. It also confirmed the martyrdom of 373 Palestinians and the injury of 970 as a result of Israel's violations of the ceasefire agreement since October 10, 2025.
In a related development, the Ministry of Health in Gaza warned that 52% of essential medicines and 71% of medical supplies are completely depleted. In a statement issued Sunday, the ministry called for an urgent increase in medical supplies to enable medical teams to continue operating under the Israeli blockade.
In a related development, local media reported that Israeli forces demolished buildings and opened fire in areas under their control east of Khan Younis, while military vehicles intensified their gunfire north of Rafah. Israeli aircraft also launched an airstrike early Sunday morning on the eastern part of the Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, but no casualties were reported.
On Saturday, Israeli forces advanced beyond their designated area of deployment, expanding what is known as the "yellow zone" east of Khan Younis. This coincided with the killing of approximately seven Palestinians by Israeli fire, including five who were killed in Jabalia and Beit Lahia, outside the areas under Israeli control. The Israeli army claimed that its forces targeted "three armed men who crossed the yellow line and posed a threat."
