Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Erick Thohir stated that deregulation of each ministry is predicted to boost economic growth by up to 0.78 percent.
"So, if the economy is currently growing at 5 percent, if all ministries implement breakthroughs, it could increase to 6 percent. Not to mention the President's massive government spending," said the Minister of Youth and Sports at the Indonesia Arena in Jakarta on Sunday.
Currently, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Industry, and the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are drafting regulations regarding the ecosystem of local sports brands so they can dominate the domestic market.
One of the policies currently being designed is regarding the determination of Indonesian National Standards (SNI) and Domestic Component Levels (TKDN).
