Youth and Sports Minister Erick Thohir wants the Indonesian Padel Association (PPI) to have a roadmap for developing the sport's achievements to the Olympic level.
"I will also ask the Padel management (PBPI) for a roadmap , what the SEA Games, Asian Games, and Olympics will be like," said Erick Thohir in a meeting with PBPI Chairman Galih Dimuntur Kartasasmita, along with the board and padel athletes.
The Minister of Youth and Sports wants all sports, including padel, to have a clear roadmap for developing achievements from the national, regional, and international levels.
Therefore, in a previous meeting with the General Chairperson of the Indonesian Aquatics Executive Board (PB AI) Anindya Bakrie, the General Chairperson of the Free Board of the All-Indonesia Weightlifting Association (PB PABSI) Rosan Perkasa Roeslani, the Minister of Youth and Sports also asked them to prepare a roadmap.
"Because of the direction and agreement we've already begun discussing, we will focus on 21 leading sports," he said.
