This figure is a significant increase compared when the recovery rate only reached 45.58 percent. Of the 23 affected districts/cities, 20 have recorded network recovery rates above 50 percent. This allows the majority of affected communities to reconnect and communicate more smoothly.
Minister of Communication and Digital Meutya Hafid emphasized that connectivity restoration is aimed at ensuring the basic needs of the community, especially in areas still experiencing limited communication access.
"I've asked operators to focus recovery efforts in districts/cities with recovery rates below 50 percent, namely Aceh Tamiang Regency, Bener Meriah Regency, and Gayo Lues Regency. Connectivity in these areas is crucial to prevent residents from feeling isolated," Meutya said in a statement.
