The Ministry of Communication and Digital is collaborating with cellular operator partner PT Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (IOH) to restore connectivity services and distribute social assistance in Aceh Tamiang Regency, Aceh Province.
Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital, Nezar Patria, stated that the assistance provided consisted of internet access facilities, drilling wells, and public kitchens.
"We identified areas that needed immediate assistance, particularly for clean water. So, we set up bore water stations, public kitchens, and Starlink assistance was also provided at the village office and mosque," Nezar said in a statement.
