The U19 national futsal team continues to aim for perfect results
Indonesian U-19 national futsal team coach Naim Hamid Salim said his team is still aiming for a perfect result in the group stage of the 2025 ASEAN U-19 Futsal Championship even though they have already qualified for the semifinals.

In the final match of Group B, Indonesia, which opened the tournament with a 4-1 victory over Myanmar on Wednesday, will face Malaysia, who are in second place with one point.

"Yes, hopefully, we can also get a perfect result against Malaysia, God willing," Naim said after the match against Myanmar, in an audio recording received by ANTARA in Jakarta from the Indonesian national futsal team on Wednesday.

Three points against Myanmar temporarily put the Garuda Muda at the top of Group B with three points. Indonesia already has a place in the semifinals, and in their upcoming match against Malaysia, the Garuda Muda need just one point to secure the Group B title.

The finishing positions in the group stage will determine each team's opponents in the semifinals this Saturday.

The winner of Group A will face the runner-up of Group B, while the winner of Group B will face the runner-up of Group A.
