The Indonesian U-19 national futsal team kicked off the 2025 ASEAN U-19 Futsal Championship with a strong start after thrashing Myanmar 4-1 at Nonthaburi Hall, Thailand, on Wednesday.Indonesian U-19 national futsal team coach Naim Hamid Salim fielded Guntur Rochmatdhani Pratikno (GK), Reivan Revian (C), Muhamad Fatih Zidan, Ahmad Firdaus, and Andi Umayyah Ramadhan Masdar as starters.
Indonesia opened the scoring in the sixth minute through Muhamad Dafa Erlangga. His powerful shot from outside the penalty area was unstoppable by the Myanmar goalkeeper.
After that, Indonesia created several chances, but failed to convert them into goals.
In the second half, the Young Garuda didn't need long to double their lead. Reivan Revian's performance in the 21st minute gave Indonesia their second goal. Reivan showcased his individual skill, dribbled past two players before beating the Myanmar goalkeeper.
Indonesia became increasingly unstoppable. Five minutes later, they added another goal with a free kick from Andi Umayyah, which tore through Myanmar's net for the third time.
Myanmar stole a goal in the 28th minute of the second half after Hae Mar Htay took advantage of the negligence of the Indonesian defense which was in a positive transition.
