Thomas Frank admits he is still looking for a "click" formula for Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur coach Thomas Frank admitted that he is still searching for a formula to find the "click" in his team's game after only managing two wins in the last 10 matches in all competitions.

Frank made the statement at a pre-match press conference against Newcastle United in the 14th week of the 2025/2026 Premier League at St. James' Park, Wednesday (3/12) at 03.15 WIB.

"We have a squad that has learned from last season—playing in the Premier League and the Europa League. This season we're playing in the Champions League, and I want us to do well in the Premier League. Competing in two competitions at once requires time to learn, both physically and mentally," Frank said, as quoted on the club's official website on Tuesday.

"We're still searching for the right formula that will 'click,' while still rotating players to stay fit, maintaining high intensity, and considering the risk of injury," he added.

On the other hand, this formula that hasn't clicked will be tested against Newcastle, a team that has just won two consecutive Premier League matches, and a team that has won all six of its last home matches.

Of those six home wins, one came when they beat Spurs 2-0 in the League Cup.
