Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe hopes his team will maintain their consistency in the 2025/2026 Premier League after securing two consecutive wins for the first time this season, taking three points from Manchester City and Everton respectively.
In the middle of this week, Newcastle's consistency will be tested by Tottenham Hotspur at St. James' Park on Wednesday (3/12) at 03.15 WIB.
Tottenham are currently on a negative run, having suffered two consecutive defeats in the Premier League and one win in their last five matches in all competitions.
"Hopefully, this will be a turning point for us. Every opponent we've faced in the Premier League has been tough, and now we're facing Tottenham, a very good team with their own strengths," Howe said, as quoted on the club's official website on Tuesday.
"We will execute our plan to try and find a way to win," he continued.
Howe then provided an update on his injured players, including Yoane Wissa, Sven Botman, and Nick Pope. As for their new striker, Wissa, Howe said, he was making positive progress toward returning to action.
