The occupation forces bombed Tubas and Qabatiya in the northern West Bank, and more than two thousand attacks by the army and settlers were documented during November.

On Tuesday evening, Israeli occupation helicopters targeted areas in the city of Tubas and the town of Qabatiya in the northern West Bank with machine gun fire. American-made Apache helicopters fired in Tubas, and this was heard several times that evening.

No information is available about the targeted locations, and no injuries have been reported so far.

In the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin, the official Palestinian news agency WAFA quoted local sources as saying that Israeli Apache helicopters fired heavy live ammunition at the Jabal al-Zakarneh area in the town.

For more than a week, the Tubas Governorate has witnessed a military escalation that has caused widespread destruction of infrastructure and property, in addition to injuring hundreds of Palestinians and arresting dozens of others.

The Israeli army announced on Tuesday afternoon a complete curfew in the town of Qabatiya until further notice, according to a statement issued by the municipality. This comes amid a broad Israeli military escalation in the occupied West Bank in recent days, which has included raids, house demolitions, and the closure of cities.

This escalation on Tuesday included the governorates of Hebron in the south, Ramallah in the center, and Nablus and Tubas in the north, where the army imposed strict measures on the daily movement of Palestinians, closed main streets, and raided Palestinian homes, leading to the disruption of public services and schools.

Since January 21, the Jenin, Nur Shams and Tulkarm camps in the northern West Bank have been witnessing a military operation during which the occupation army has demolished thousands of homes and forced about 32,000 Palestinians to flee, according to official data.

arrests and injuries

In Nablus, Israeli special forces arrested a young man on Tuesday evening after raiding a building in the northern part of the city, using tear gas and stun grenades. Earlier, the Israeli army demolished the apartment of a Palestinian prisoner in the city after issuing evacuation notices to residents in the surrounding area.

North of Jerusalem, a young Palestinian man was shot by the occupation army while trying to cross the separation wall in the town of Al-Ram, in an incident that is repeated almost daily as Palestinian workers try to reach their workplaces, which they have been prevented from returning to during the past two years. Since the start of the war, 44 workers have been killed and more than 32,000 have been arrested while trying to work inside the Green Line.

In this context, the Palestinian Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission documented 2,144 attacks carried out by the army and settlers last November, including 1,523 attacks by the army and 621 attacks by settlers, mainly concentrated in Ramallah, Hebron, Bethlehem and Nablus.

The attacks included direct physical assaults, uprooting and burning of trees, preventing olive pickers from accessing their lands, seizing property, and demolishing homes and agricultural facilities.

Settlers also attempted to establish 19 new settlement outposts with clear political support, while Israel seized 2,800 dunams of Palestinian land and studied new structural plans that include 23 settlement plans.

The commission asserts that this escalation is "systematic and organized, aimed at emptying the land of its inhabitants and imposing a fully integrated racist colonial system," in light of the Israeli war of extermination in Gaza, which in two years has resulted in more than 70,000 martyrs and 171,000 wounded, most of them children and women, and widespread destruction, the cost of which the United Nations estimates at about $70 billion.

The occupation army and settlers continue their attacks and escalation in the West Bank since the start of the war of extermination on Gaza, which has resulted in the martyrdom of at least 1,087 Palestinians, the injury of nearly 11,000, and the arrest of more than 21,000 others.
