Two goals from defender Cristian Romero saved Tottenham from defeat when they played in the 14th week of the Premier League against Newcastle which ended in a 2-2 draw at St. James Park Stadium, Newcastle, Tuesday local time.
Romero scored two goals in the 78th and 90+5th minutes after Newcastle had previously taken the lead twice through Bruno Guimaraes (71') and Anthony Gordon (86'), according to Premier League records.
This draw moved Tottenham up to 11th in the Premier League standings with 19 points from 14 matches, level on points with Newcastle in 13th place.
