Young Indonesian rally driver Diva Zahra is aiming for the 2026 National Sprint Rally Championship title after a brilliant performance, finishing second in the women's class in the 2025 competition season."Next year (2026), I'm definitely aiming to win the women's national championship and focus on Group F," Diva Zahra said at a press conference in Jakarta on Monday.
The Bandung-based rally driver had a brilliant year in 2025, showing impressive performances throughout the 2025 National Sprint Rally Championship. She finished the competition in second place in the women's class.
In the final round, the 24-year-old even managed to enter the top 6 non-seeded, and climbed to the third podium in the U-25 class amidst the dominance of male rally drivers.
Along with co-driver Reza 'Eca', Diva demonstrated her consistency in conquering the racetrack with a 100 percent finish rate . This means that in every round she competed in throughout the National Championship, Diva was able to finish.
Diva admitted that the results in the 2025 season actually deviated from her target of winning the championship title, but she felt satisfied because the achievement was due to hard work.
He also highlighted the need for clarification of the rules regarding the women's national championship, including the specifications of the cars used by the racers.
"The car specifications are still not the same, they say some use Evo, some use Rally 4, the cars are still very diverse," he said.
