Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition is reportedly selling well in China
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition is reportedly selling well in China, but some buyers are reselling the device at a higher price than the official price on secondhand goods trading platforms.

According to a Gizmochina report quoted on Sunday, the new Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition sold out immediately even before the official product sales began.

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica was officially unveiled on December 25, 2025, and pre-orders opened the same day. Sales of the photography-focused phone began on December 27, 2025.

However, even before the Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition was shipped to early buyers, people looking to resell the phone with its superior photography support had already listed it on second-hand sales platforms.

So, people who have pre-ordered the Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition are planning to resell it as soon as the company ships the flagship phone.

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition is marketed with an official price starting at 7,999 yuan or around Rp19 million for the 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage variant and 8,999 yuan or around Rp21.4 million for the highest variant with 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage.

However, the new phone model is offered at a higher price on second-hand goods buying and selling platforms.

As an illustration, people who want to resell the Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition are offering the highest variant of the phone at a price of 9,999 yuan (around Rp. 23.8 million) to 10,000 yuan (Rp. 23.9 million) more.
