A Palestinian was killed by Israeli army fire east of Khan Younis amid ongoing ceasefire violations.
A medical source reported that "a Palestinian was killed by Israeli army fire in the vicinity of the Sheikh Nasser area near what is known as the Yellow Line, east of Khan Younis."

The so-called "yellow line" stipulated in the agreement separates the areas of deployment of the occupying army, which amount to more than 50% of the area of the Gaza Strip to the east, and the areas in which Palestinians are allowed to move to the west.

The Palestinian’s death coincided with heavy gunfire from Israeli vehicles east of Khan Younis, according to eyewitnesses.

In Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, the Israeli army continued its demolition of residential buildings north of the city, where explosions were heard and plumes of smoke were seen rising as a result.

Since the ceasefire agreement came into effect, the occupying army, as a result of its repeated violations, has killed 492 Palestinians and injured 1,356 others.

The agreement ended a genocidal war that began on October 7, 2023, and lasted for two years, resulting in more than 71,000 Palestinian martyrs and 171,000 wounded, in addition to widespread destruction affecting about 90% of civilian infrastructure, with reconstruction costs estimated by the United Nations at about $70 billion.
