Italian League club AC Milan signed striker Niclas Fullkrug from English League club West Ham in the mid-season transfer window.
Quoted from the club's official website, Friday, AC Milan brought in Fullkrug on loan from West Ham until the end of the season and the Rossoneri have an option to make the move permanent.
The German international will wear the number nine shirt for AC Milan and is expected to add strength to Massimiliano Allegri's attack.
Fullkrug played for the German League club's youth team and managed to break into the first team in the winter of 2012 and appeared in 124 matches and scored 49 goals and 16 assists in a total of 7,689 minutes of playing time.
Besides playing for Werder Bremen, Fullkrug also played for other German League clubs such as Greuther Furth, Nurnberg, Hannover 96, and Borussia Dortmund.
Before starting his career in England, the 32-year-old player spent one season wearing the Borussia Dortmund uniform and appeared in 43 matches in various competitions and scored 15 goals and 10 assists from a total of 3,335 minutes of playing time in various competitions.
Fullkrug then joined West Ham at the start of the 2024/2025 season and appeared in 29 matches, contributing only three goals and two assists in a total of 1,290 minutes of playing time across various competitions.
Furthermore, Fullkrug also played for the German national team at the 2022 World Cup, making 24 senior appearances, scoring 14 goals.
