Persib's website on Thursday stated that the player was confirmed absent by Persib Bandung coach Bojan Hodak who stated that Jung was forced to miss the match due to injury.
"Jung has a hamstring injury, but it's not a serious one. He won't be able to play. He'll be available for the next match," Bojan said.
Despite having to lose Jung, Bojan is not worried because several players who were previously absent or injured can appear against Persija.
Bojan stated that Beckham Putra Nugraha, Teja Paku Alam, Federico Barba, Marc Klok and Eliano Reijnders were ready to be fielded.
