Real Madrid player Jude Bellingham is targeting trophies in 2026 after a less than satisfactory 2025 season, when his club failed to win any major competitions.
The England international midfielder made the announcement during Real Madrid's open training session at Valdebebas, ahead of the return of competition after the Christmas break and the Spanish Super Cup in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
"Hopefully, we can win trophies. The fans deserve it. 2025 was a bit disappointing. So, in the new year, we want to win trophies," Bellingham told Real Madrid's website.
In the 2025 season, Real Madrid failed to lift a single major trophy. Los Blancos finished runners-up in La Liga and the Copa del Rey behind Barcelona, were eliminated from the Champions League after being defeated by Arsenal, and were knocked out of the Club World Cup in the semifinals by Paris Saint-Germain.
Bellingham remains a key player for Madrid. He underwent shoulder surgery after the Club World Cup, which delayed his La Liga debut this season until the end of September.
