Persib Bandung attacking midfielder Rosembergne 'Berguinho' da Silva has confirmed he is ready to work harder in the second round of the 2025/2026 BRI Super League.
Quoted from the club's official website, Wednesday, Berguinho is determined to continue Persib Bandung's winning streak and is reluctant to let the top position they currently occupy be taken by another team.
"There's no choice but to try to maintain our lead at the top. We have to work harder and focus on every game," said Berguinho.
To achieve his mission in the second round with Persib Bandung, Berguinho stated that he is ready to train harder and conduct self-evaluation so he can make a bigger contribution.
"Yes, of course we have to improve what we need to improve. Because here we want to continue our ambition of becoming champions," said Berguinho.
The Brazilian player is currently always the choice of coach Bojan Hodak to occupy the Persib Bandung attack line, either as an attacking midfielder or winger.
Berguinho was brought in by Persib Bandung at the start of the 2025/2026 BRI Super League season from fellow Indonesian club Borneo FC.
The 28-year-old has appeared in 13 matches for Persib Bandung in the first half of the Super League competition, contributing four assists in a total of 762 minutes of playing time.
Furthermore, Berguinho's positive contribution is expected to be present again when Persib Bandung plays in the 18th week of the Super League against PSBS Biak at the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium, Bandung.
