Persik Kediri targets striker to fulfill foreign player quota
  Persik Kediri is targeting a new foreign striker to fill its import player quota in the mid-season transfer window for the second round of the 2025/2026 BRI Super League.

Quoted from the official I.League website, Wednesday, Persik Kediri Manager Syahid Nur Ichsan said that currently the White Tigers have 10 foreign players and still have one place left that can be filled.

Syahid said Persik Kediri's main focus at the moment is searching for a new, goal-hungry foreign striker, as their front line is currently receiving serious attention from the coaching team and management.

"Focusing on the midfield alone won't be enough; the front line must also be sharp," said Syahid.

Currently Persik Kediri has 10 foreign players namely Kiko Carneiro, Telmo Castanheira, Imanol Garcia, Williams Lugo, Sylvain Atieda, Pedro Matos, Jose Enrique, Chechu Meneses, Jon Toral and Adrian Luna.

In the mid-season transfer window, Persik Kediri strengthened their back and midfield by landing Chechu Meneses, Jon Toral, and Adrian Luna.
