Minnesota Timberwolves basketball player Anthony Edwards left the bench early, during his team's 102-126 loss against the Atlanta Hawks in the 2025-2026 NBA game.
The NBA website reported Thursday that the guard left the bench and entered the locker room with 7 minutes and 52 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter.
"He (Edwards) is obviously frustrated with the team's performance, and that's understandable. However, he has to stay on the court and support the team," said Minnesota Timberwolves coach Chris Finch after the game.
Edwards' departure from the field came with the Wolves trailing 80-109 and the coach decided to pull the starters from the field.
