Indonesia and Malaysia lead the top 20 in men's doubles
Indonesia and Malaysia will lead the top 20 in the Badminton World Federation (BWF) men's doubles world rankings in early 2026.

According to the latest rankings released on Thursday, Indonesia has four pairs in the world's top 20. However, one of them, Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto, is no longer active as a pair after the composition of the national training camp was changed.

Thus, Indonesia effectively has three active pairs at the world's top level.

The three pairs are Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri, Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Mohammad Reza Pahlevi Isfahani, and Leo Rolly Carnando/Bagas Maulana.

Fajar/Rian are still listed in the world rankings even though they no longer appear together in official tournaments.
