Faza/Aisyah are ready to perform freely in their debut at the 2025 Malaysia Open.
Indonesian mixed doubles pair Marwan Faza/Aisyah Salsabila Putri Pranata are preparing to make their debut at the BWF World Tour Super 1000 Malaysia Open 2026 at the Axiata Arena, Kuala Lumpur, on January 6–11.

The Malaysia Open marks Faza/Aisyah's first major tournament since being paired together more than a year ago. The tournament in the neighboring country also marks their debut at the top level of the BWF World Tour, having previously competed primarily in Super 100, 300, and 750 tournaments.

"It's definitely a great feeling to be trusted to compete in a Super 1000 tournament. I'm very excited to make my debut at the Malaysia Open," said Faza in an official statement from the Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) on Monday.

Aisyah admitted that she did not expect to be able to appear in the season-opening tournament at the highest level.

"We can't imagine finally making our Super 1000 debut. We want to put on a good show," said Aisyah.

Faza/Aisyah emphasized that mental aspects are the main focus in their preparation for competition at the world elite level.
