Fletcher asked for Sir Alex Ferguson's blessing when he became MU coach

  Manchester United (MU) U18 team coach, Darren Fletcher, immediately asked for the blessing of his former coach at the club, Sir Alex Ferguson, when he was appointed as MU's interim coach.

"I have a very good relationship with Sir Alex, so he was the first person I contacted, to be honest. I wanted to speak to him first to get his blessing, to be honest. I think he deserves that respect," Fletcher said, as quoted from Manchester United's official website.
