Following reports of his potential release, Arbeloa clarifies his stance on selling Arnold

Media outlets have confirmed that the Real Madrid coach has settled the controversy that has been raging in recent days about the future of Trent Alexander-Arnold, in an attempt to put an end to the escalating speculation about the possibility of his departure from the team.

Previous media reports indicated that Arnold was no longer of interest to Arbeloa, who does not include the "joker" player in his plans and has expressed his willingness to agree to his departure in the coming period. Real Madrid's management believes that receiving an offer of around 40 million euros would be sufficient to agree to sell the player and end his experience at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium.

According to the "Madrid Zone" account, the Spanish coach believes in Arnold's technical abilities and that what is being said about his future does not reflect the official position within Real Madrid, noting that the evaluation of any player is always done according to comprehensive sporting standards that take into account the needs of the team and its balance, and not based on media or fan pressure.

Spanish sources also confirmed that Alvaro Arbeloa held a meeting with Trent Alexander-Arnold, during which he stressed that he would have an important role within the team as soon as he returned from injury.

According to the same reports, Arbeloa expressed his full support for the English player, confirming that the coach and the club's management have great confidence in his abilities and there is no real intention to let him go at the moment.

The English right-back joined Real Madrid last summer after the end of his contract with Liverpool, but the Royal Club paid a sum of less than 10 million euros in order to benefit from his services during the Club World Cup tournament held in the United States of America.
