Group A standings: Indonesian national futsal team first, Iraq second
  The Indonesian national futsal team topped Group A of the 2026 Asian Futsal Cup after a five-goal thrashing of South Korea in their first group match.

Playing in front of thousands of their own supporters at the Indonesia Arena, Jakarta, Tuesday, Indonesia played well in two halves, with five goals scored by two goals from captain Mochammad Iqbal, and a goal each scored by Rio Pangestu, Israr Megantara, and Reza Gunawan.
