Hector Souto is wary of the strength of all opponents in Group A

 Indonesian national futsal team coach Hector Souto emphasized that the coaching staff had conducted an in-depth analysis of the strengths of their opponents in the 2026 Asian Futsal Cup group stage, while also acknowledging that the Garuda squad still lacks experience competing at the continental level.

In a press conference ahead of the competition, Souto said that each team in the group has different characteristics and qualities, so Indonesia must appear well prepared.

"We analyzed them in great detail. Kyrgyzstan has experienced very rapid development in the past year, frequently holding training camps and matches in Europe, and has a strong foundation since the Juiz Bernat era and continued under coach Djetibaev," Souto said at a press conference at the Indonesia Arena.
