HRC Castrol Honda will launch its team on February 2
The Honda HRC Castrol MotoGP team has scheduled its launch and team introduction for the 2026 MotoGP season for February 2. Although no details have been provided regarding the venue, Honda has confirmed that fans will be able to enjoy the event online.

"In February 2026, the Honda HRC Castrol team presentation will take place online to allow fans worldwide to join in. Joan Mir and Luca Marini will be unveiled for the 2026 season along with the Honda RC213V, built to continue the momentum of last season," Honda HRC wrote in an official statement.

Honda will be strengthened by Joan Mir and Luca Marini, who are the riders who have been retained from last season.

Mir and Marini will use the Honda RC213V development to face the 2026 season. There is a striking change in the Honda team this time, namely the replacement of Repsol's signature orange stripes with Castrol's red and green stripes.

After moving out of the D-ranked team standings, Honda will start in 2026 with the same testing quota as Aprilia and KTM, which are in the C-ranked team standings.
