The official Voice of Palestine radio station reported that a young Palestinian man was injured following an attack by settlers on citizens' homes in the town of Beita, south of Nablus in the northern West Bank, without disclosing the nature of the injury.
Palestinian state television reported that Palestinian youths confronted an attack by settlers in the Al-Dhahra area on the outskirts of the town.
In a separate incident south of Nablus, Palestine TV reported that a Palestinian home on the outskirts of the village of Burin was attacked by settlers who threw stones at it.
Regarding the raids, television reported clashes between Palestinian youths and occupation forces during a raid on the towns of Ni’lin and Al-Mazra’a Al-Gharbiya, west and northwest of Ramallah in the central West Bank.
The occupation forces also stormed the city of Tubas, the villages of Rummanah and Kafr Dan west and northwest of Jenin, and the town of Anabta east of Tulkarm, in addition to the villages of Al-Mughayyir, Shabtin and Jaljulia in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate.
In occupied Jerusalem, two Palestinians were wounded by Israeli forces in the town of al-Ram, northeast of the city. Security sources told the Palestinian news agency WAFA that Israeli forces opened fire near the separation wall, wounding two Palestinians who were then taken to the hospital.
As for the southern West Bank, the agency indicated that clashes broke out with the occupation forces during a raid on the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron.
In the Bethlehem Governorate, Wafa news agency reported that the occupation forces arrested an entire Palestinian family from the village of Kisan, east of the city.
She explained that the occupation forces arrested citizen Mahmoud Awda Ghazal (55 years old), his wife Laila Khalil Abu Diya (50 years old), their two sons Abdul Rahman (20 years old) and Muhammad (27 years old), in addition to the latter’s wife Hiba Taqatqa (25 years old), after raiding and searching their home.
Wafa indicated that the arrest came hours after more than 30 settlers stormed the village of Kisan earlier on Saturday, where they fired live ammunition, injuring a Palestinian child, in addition to raiding a school and a number of citizens’ homes and vandalizing property.
Since the start of the Israeli war of extermination on the Gaza Strip on October 8, 2023, the occupation army and settlers have escalated their attacks in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, resulting in the martyrdom of at least 1,105 Palestinians, the injury of about 11,000, in addition to the arrest of more than 21,000 Palestinians, according to official Palestinian data.
In the Gaza Strip, the Israeli genocide, with American support, resulted in more than 71,000 martyrs and 171,000 wounded, most of them children and women, as well as the destruction of about 90% of the civilian infrastructure, while the United Nations estimated the cost of reconstruction at about $70 billion.
