Intel plans to strengthen its presence in the portable gaming device market by developing new platforms and chips specifically for handheld gaming devices.
As reported by Tech Crunch on Wednesday, Intel Vice President and General Manager of PC Products Daniel Rogers said that the platform will include hardware and software, and is built on the Intel Core Series 3 processor known by the code name Panther Lake.
The platform will include a chip variant specifically designed for handheld gaming devices . Panther Lake processors are Intel's first chips manufactured using the 18A manufacturing process, which will begin production in 2025.
