The occupation forces also arrested a young Palestinian man after raiding and searching his house in the village of Al-Badhan, north of Nablus, according to Kamal Bani Odeh, director of the Prisoner Club in Tubas.
In a related context, Wafa said that the occupation forces arrested a Palestinian youth from the village of Ras Atiya, south of Qalqilya, after stopping him at a military checkpoint set up at the eastern entrance to the city of Qalqilya.
The occupation forces also stormed the town of Azzun, east of Qalqilya, from its main northern entrance, and drove their military vehicles through several neighborhoods, and raided a car wash before withdrawing.
In the central West Bank, Wafa news agency reported that Israeli occupation forces arrested four foreign activists of different nationalities after raiding the Azbat Rizq Abu Naim area in Al-Khalail, south of Al-Mughayir village, northeast of Ramallah, before releasing them later after about an hour of detention.
In other developments on the ground, the occupation forces stormed the city of Al-Bireh on Saturday afternoon, with their military vehicles patrolling the streets of the city center.
On Saturday at dawn, they stormed the Al-Ain camp west of Nablus, raided a number of homes, detained citizens and interrogated them in the field, before releasing them later.
On Friday evening, a young Palestinian man was shot with live ammunition during an Israeli raid on the town of Al-Dhahiriya, south of Hebron. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its crews transported the injured man to a hospital after he was shot in the foot.
Attacks and injuries caused by settler gunfire
In settler attacks, a Palestinian child was wounded on Saturday by Israeli settlers in the village of Kisan, southeast of Bethlehem.
Palestinian state television reported that a 16-year-old boy was injured in the leg following an attack by settlers on homes in the village. The Palestinian Red Crescent confirmed that the injured boy was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The head of the Kisan village council, Musa Abayat, told Wafa news agency that more than 30 settlers stormed the village, raided a school and a number of homes, fired live ammunition, and destroyed crops using their machinery.
On Friday evening, settlers also attacked a house on the northern outskirts of Sinjil town, north of Ramallah, where they broke and tore down the windows of the house, stole a number of belongings, and caused extensive damage inside.
In Salfit, more than 50 settlers attacked the northern side of the village of Farkha, southwest of the governorate, and fired live ammunition at the village's youths, without any injuries being reported, according to Wafa.
Settlers also fired live ammunition at citizens in the Wadi al-Ain area of Deir Ballut town, west of Salfit, with the aim of intimidating the residents and preventing them from accessing their lands.
According to data from the Palestinian Authority's Commission against the Wall and Settlements for November, settlers carried out 621 attacks in the West Bank against Palestinians and their property in a single month. The United Nations affirms that settlement activity in the occupied Palestinian territories is illegal and undermines the prospects for a two-state solution, and has been calling for its cessation for decades without success.

According to official Palestinian reports, the number of settlers in the West Bank reached about 770,000 by the end of 2024, distributed across more than 180 settlements and 256 settlement outposts.

These developments come amid escalating attacks by the occupation and settlers in the West Bank, coinciding with the ongoing Israeli war of extermination on the Gaza Strip since October 8, 2023, during which the occupation army and settlers in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, have killed at least 1,105 Palestinians and injured about 11,000 others.
