Cybersecurity and cyber-AI company PT ITSEC Asia Tbk has integrated artificial intelligence (AI)-based cybersecurity technology into Infinix smartphones as part of an effort to expand digital protection amid the increasing use of smartphones as the primary device for people's online activities.
The integration is carried out through the implementation of IntelliBron Aman, ITSEC Asia's AI-based cybersecurity solution, on the Infinix NOTE Edge 5G+ marketed in Indonesia.
"Through our partnership with Infinix and the launch of IntelliBron securely within the Infinix ecosystem, we are expanding our reach to the consumer segment at scale. This is how we are delivering practical, affordable, and relevant cybersecurity for everyday use, starting in Indonesia," said Patrick Dannacher, President Director of ITSEC Asia, in a press release on Tuesday.
IntelliBron Safe is designed to protect mobile users from various cyber threats that are common in everyday digital activities, such as phishing, malicious links, unsafe sites, and suspicious connections.
This system works automatically in the background to prevent threats before they reach the device, while providing real-time notifications to the user.
This implementation marks the first global launch of ITSEC Asia security technology on the Infinix consumer device line, with plans to expand to the Infinix NOTE 60 series.
ITSEC Asia stated that the collaboration with Infinix marks a step for the company in expanding its business focus from enterprise cybersecurity and critical infrastructure to consumer-scale cyber protection.
