Kylian Mbappe is facing up to three weeks out with a knee injury.
Real Madrid's star striker, Kylian Mbappe, has been confirmed to have suffered a left knee injury that could see him sidelined for up to three weeks.

"After undergoing examinations by the medical team today, Kylian Mbappé has been diagnosed with an injury to his left knee. His condition will continue to be monitored," read a statement from Real Madrid, as reported on the club's official website on Thursday (January 1).

The injury reportedly began in early December 2025, when Mbappé felt discomfort in his knee during a match against Celta Vigo. Despite the problem, he forced himself to play until the end of the match.

However, in the following match against Manchester City, Mbappé was ultimately sidelined due to his persistent knee injury. Despite this, he returned to the pitch in Real Madrid's final three matches in 2025.
