The Indonesian badminton team will return to the BWF tournament calendar after previously appearing at the 2026 Malaysia Open.
In the second BWF tournament this year, the Red and White team will appear at the 2026 India Open which will take place at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, New Delhi on January 13-18.
Appearing in the BWF Super 750 tournament, the Red and White team fielded a total of four representatives divided into four sectors, namely the men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, and women's doubles.
In the men's singles sector, Jonatan Christie will start his steps in the round of 32 by meeting Singapore's Jason Teh on Tuesday (13/1).
Meanwhile, in the women's singles sector, Putri Kusuma Wardhani will be challenged by Canadian singles player Michelle Li in the round of 32.
Then in the men's doubles sector, Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Moh. Reza Pahlevi Isfahani met Taiwanese pair Chen Zhi Ray/Lin Yu Chieh in the round of 32.
Meanwhile, in the women's doubles sector, Lanny Tria Mayasari/Amallia Cahaya Pratiwi will face a strong opponent in the round of 32, namely the Chinese doubles pair Liu Sheng Shu/Tan Ning.
