Spalletti said the match was tight in many phases, but his team emerged victorious thanks to consistent play throughout.
"This victory is definitely another boost of confidence for the team. The match was evenly matched for a long time, difficult, but deserved," said Spalletti, as quoted on Juventus' official website.
The Italian coach appreciated the attitude of his players who maintained the intensity throughout the 90 minutes.
"I liked the way the team approached this match, how they were on the pitch for the entire 90 minutes with the same attitude. This shows our awareness of our potential and strength," he said.
Juventus midfielder Khephren Thuram also expressed satisfaction with his team's performance and said the victory underscored the squad's quality.
"We played a great game and won 3-0. We knew we were a strong team, and we're even more confident after proving that tonight," said Thuram.
