Meta closes three VR studios, shifts development focus
Meta is closing its three virtual reality (VR) development studios, namely Armature, Sanzaru, and Twisted Pixel.

According to an Engadget release on Wednesday, employees of Twisted Pixel, the developer of the game "Marvel's Deadpool VR", which was released in November last year, and Sanzaru, known for the game "Asgard's Wrath", announced the closure of their studios on social media platforms.

Armature, the studio that brought "Resident Evil 4" to the Quest headset in 2021, is also closing.

Meanwhile, Supernatural confirmed the halt to development of its VR fitness app via a Facebook post.

"Due to recent organizational changes at our studio, Supernatural will no longer be receiving new content or feature updates as of today," Supernatural said in a statement.

However, the Supernatural VR fitness app will remain active for existing users.
