Ministry of Communication and Digital looks at Agentic AI for more adaptive public policy
The Secretary General of the Ministry of Communication and Digital (Kemkomdigi), Ismail, revealed that Agentic Artificial Intelligence (Agentic AI) technology needs to be utilized as a strategic instrument for the state to encourage more precise, adaptive, and data-driven public policies in the digital era.

At the Governance Agentic AI event  which was also conveyed through an official press release, he revealed that mastery of Agentic AI is crucial for the government to be able to read people's digital lifestyle patterns and formulate policies that are truly on target.

"Today, people's lifestyles are captured through search engines, chat apps, social media, and even marketplaces . However, the government is not well-positioned to fully understand these data sources. As a result, public policies, including those on tourism and transportation, often miss the mark," said Ismail.

Ismail emphasized that the main issue in this case is not data ownership, but rather accessibility and the state's ability to read patterns in aggregate for the public interest, without violating privacy and legal principles.
