Honor is preparing a large-screen foldable phone to compete with Samsung and Apple.

  Honor is reportedly developing a foldable phone with a wider screen to compete with other manufacturers such as Samsung and Apple.

As reported by GSM Arena  this phone is said to carry a 4:3 aspect ratio, a format that is rumored to be a new trend in the foldable phone segment in 2026.

This ratio makes the phone wider than the current Magic Vs3. Unlike Samsung's strategy, which is expected to maintain separate lines for each price segment, Honor is reportedly replacing its more affordable Magic Vs line with this new model.

Apple is rumored to be using this approach for its first foldable phone, while Samsung is said to be implementing it for its premium Z Fold model, which will sit between the Z Fold8 and the Z TriFold.
