Samsung Galaxy S26 reportedly equipped with satellite communication support
The Samsung Galaxy S26 series of smartphones, which are expected to launch next month, are rumored to be equipped with satellite communication support, which will allow users to send and receive text messages in areas where cellular networks are not available.

According to a GSM Arena report on Wednesday (28/1), three phone models in the series have appeared in the United States Federal Communications Commission (FCC) database .

According to FCC documents, the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra devices for the United States market all support the use of Supplemental Coverage from Space (SCS) and Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN) technologies.

The presence of these two technologies indicates that the Galaxy S26 series devices can connect to satellite communication networks, allowing users to send and receive text messages even in areas without cellular network coverage. However, this feature may only be available in certain regions.
