On Tuesday night, Al-Nassr FC of Saudi Arabia announced via its "X" platform account that it had officially signed Iraqi midfielder Haider Abdul Karim, who joins from Al-Zawraa FC of Iraq.
The "Global" team said that Haider Abdul Karim, 21, will be bound to them by a contract that extends for two and a half seasons, and will wear a shirt bearing the number 8.
According to media reports, the transfer of Haider Abdul Karim to Al-Nasr cost the "global" club $950,000, of which Al-Zawraa club received $500,000, while the player will receive an annual salary estimated at $450,000.
The Iraqi player’s contract includes a clause that gives Al-Zawraa club 15% of the value of any future transfer of the player, with the possibility of renewing the contract for an additional year if he plays more than 80% of the matches in a single season.
According to Transfermarkt, Haider Abdul Karim's market value is 300,000 euros.
