Persija Director Mohamad Prapanca said that during his time wearing the Kemayoran Tigers uniform, Cardoso was a player who always gave his best on and off the field.
"Alan is a professional player who always gave his best while playing for Persija. We greatly appreciate his dedication and attitude, both on and off the field. We take this farewell with mutual respect. We wish him the best for his future career," Prapanca said in an official statement on Tuesday.
Cardoso joined Persija from Brazilian club Confianca this season. Since his arrival, the Brazilian left-back has featured consistently for Persija this season, making 18 appearances, nine of which were as a starter.
