Persita Tangerang is focused on the match against Persija Jakarta.
Persita Tangerang coach Carlos Pena explained that his team is now focused on the match against Persija  in the 19th week of the BRI Super League at the Indomilk Arena Stadium, Tangerang, Friday (30/1) at 15.30 WIB.

Quoted from the club's official website, Tuesday, Pena explained that Persita Tangerang had previously focused on recovering their physical condition after being held to a draw by Bhayangkara FC last Friday.

After recovering their physical condition, since Monday (26/1) Persita Tangerang has started preparing to face Persija , one of which is by analyzing the potential strengths of the Kemayoran Tigers.

"We will recover from the match against Bhayangkara FC and analyze the team's performance after this match. And starting today (January 26) we will begin preparing for the match against Persija," said Pena.

The Spanish coach explained that Persita Tangerang was not affected by the unpredictable weather over the past week.

Pena emphasized that Muhammad Toha and his colleagues' preparations were not disrupted at all despite the high intensity of rain in the Tangerang area.

"It doesn't matter (the rain), we can still train. We haven't had a training session canceled in recent days," said Pena.

"We were actually hoping for rain during yesterday's match against Bhayangkara FC, and perhaps a little rain would have been better because the pitch wasn't in good condition," he said.

"The pitch was a bit dry, making it difficult for us to attack Bhayangkara. However, all our preparations were unaffected and went well," he said.

Persita Tangerang is currently in fifth place in the Super League standings with 32 points from 18 matches, six points behind Persija Jakarta in third place.
