England winger Raheem Sterling has officially left Chelsea after both parties agreed to end their collaboration.
The decision was announced by the club on Wednesday (28/1) evening WIB, bringing an end to Sterling's three and a half seasons at Stamford Bridge.
"Today, Raheem Sterling officially leaves Chelsea by mutual consent," the club said in a statement on its official website on Wednesday.
Sterling joined the club in the summer of 2022 from Manchester City.
In the statement, the club management expressed their appreciation for the 31-year-old's contribution and wished Sterling every success in the future.
During his time with the Blues, Sterling made 81 appearances in all competitions and scored 19 goals.
However, Sterling has not appeared in a competitive match since May 2024. Last summer, Sterling failed to find a new club and was forced to train separately with a group of players not part of the first-team plans at Chelsea's Cobham training ground.
