Real Madrid has not ruled out Kylian Mbappe returning from a knee injury in time for the Spanish Super Cup final, which could be held on Sunday (January 11).
Mbappe missed Real Madrid's 5-1 win over Real Betis due to a sprained left knee and is certain to miss the semifinal against Atletico Madrid on Thursday (January 8). The French striker remains a doubt for the final, should Real qualify.
Mbappe did not travel to Saudi Arabia, where the Spanish Super Cup is being held, and remains in Madrid to recover.
