Samsung Galaxy A57 is expected to use a flexible OLED panel
Samsung's upcoming premium A-series smartphone, the Galaxy A57, is expected to use a flexible OLED display.

GSM Arena on Thursday (1/1) quoted a report from The Elec which stated that Chinese display manufacturer CSOT will most likely supply flexible OLED panels for the Galaxy A57.

However, sources cited by The Elec expect Samsung Display, which has been the sole panel supplier for the A5 series devices, to supply more screens than its rival, CSOT.

Samsung Galaxy A57 is rumored to launch in February 2026.

Samsung Galaxy A series phones have used rigid OLED panels so far.

The use of flexible OLED panels allows for greater design freedom and thinner bezels on phones. However, they are more expensive than rigid models.

Samsung's Chinese competitors are already using flexible OLED panels on phones priced around US$200, or around Rp. 3.3 million.

CSOT and BOE have reportedly supplied small quantities of OLED panels for Samsung's Galaxy M and A series in the past.
