The 13th Plenary Session of the 3rd Session Period of the 2025-2026 Session Year approved Sari Yuliati, who was previously Deputy Chairperson of Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives, to become Deputy Chairperson of the Indonesian House of Representatives, replacing Adies Kadir, who will become a Constitutional Court (MK) Judge.
"To the honorable council, Sari Yuliati, member number A-341, can be appointed as Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives. Is this approved?" said Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives Saan Mustopa in the plenary session, which was answered in the affirmative by members of the Indonesian House of Representatives at the parliament complex.
Adies previously held the position of Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI), a position held by the Golkar Party faction. Sari Yuliati, who has been appointed to replace Adies, also comes from the Golkar Party.
Saan said that Sari's appointment was based on the provisions of Article 39 of DPR RI Regulation Number 1 of 2020 concerning Rules of Procedure which regulates the procedures for dismissing DPR RI Leadership, due to resignation.
For this reason, the plenary session also decided to dismiss Adies Kadir from his position as Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Coordinator for Economic and Financial Affairs.
