The South Jakarta City Government promises to help with school fees for orphans.
The South Jakarta (Jaksel) City Government has promised to help with school fees and pay for the diplomas of orphans so that they can receive a better education.

"If there are children who are not attending school, please inform us of the reasons. If they are having financial difficulties, we will pay for them, and if their diplomas have not been redeemed, we will help them redeem them," said South Jakarta Mayor Muhammad Anwar while giving donations to 40 orphans at the Al-Khoiriyyah Mosque, RT 012/04, Gandaria Selatan Village, Cilandak District.

Apart from that, he also promised that if there were orphans who did not have school equipment, such as shoes, his party would provide them.

Meanwhile, regarding the provision of compensation, the former Mayor of East Jakarta said that the activity was carried out routinely every Friday.

He also advised orphans to always be enthusiastic about going to school and not let anyone miss school.

"We do this continuously and it's very effective, because not only do orphans benefit, but the environment also benefits," said Anwar.

In addition to providing assistance to orphans, the party also ensures the completeness or needs of houses of worship, such as repairing toilets and roofs, procuring loudspeakers (sound systems), and prayer room carpets.

"We are providing assistance and supplies for places of worship. Furthermore, regarding environmental issues, we are also gathering input today to be forwarded to the respective Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPDs)," Anwar said.

On the same occasion, the Head of RT 012, Supardi, expressed his gratitude to the Mayor of South Jakarta, Muhammad Anwar, and his staff who had visited the RW 04 area and responded to the needs of the local community.

"Thank God, we received information that he was coming here, and we were very happy. Residents also feel that the government's concern for this village is extraordinary," said Supardi.
