The Kramat Jati Main Market management has engaged an independent team to inspect and assess the entire building structure before making a decision regarding the renovation of hundreds of kiosks in the Los Buah Block C2 area that were previously burned down.
"We are currently conducting a preliminary assessment with an independent party regarding the structure and other aspects of the burned block C2," said Kramat Jati Market Manager Agus Lamun at Kramat Jati Market, East Jakarta, Friday
He said his party had not yet made a decision regarding the reconstruction of the building.
Currently, market management is still focused on conducting a comprehensive study of the building's condition, especially the structure of the building affected by the fire.
"Based on the results of the study, we will then determine the next steps regarding the buildings at that location," said Agus.
The inspection process is carried out seriously by involving independent parties so that the results of the study are objective and accurate.
According to Agus, the inspection aims to determine whether the market building is still suitable for long-term use.
"We have engaged independent colleagues to conduct structural tests on the building to determine whether the market building is still suitable for use for decades to come," Agus explained.
